Andika Writing Workshop. Explore broken worlds, brave rebels, and haunting futures as we dive deep into dystopian storytelling. Whether you're a writer of dark tales or just curious to try, Andika is your space to create, connect, and write the future—one word at a time. Andika is a writing workshop that welcomes amateur, professional and seasoned writers to come together and explore storytelling in all its forms. Each month, we will dive into a new theme, bringing our imagination to life through words, ideas and shared creativity. For the month of September, we are venturing into the dark realm of dystopia. Topics that we will explore under this theme include: Environmental collapse, Technology takeover, Apocalyptic scenarios, Government control/ surveillance, Survival, Distorted or Deceptive utopias. We encourage all attendees to begin thinking in advance about what kind of dystopian world they would like to build-whether it’s bleak, bizarre or eerily realistic. Kindly bring your own writing tools- a pen and notebook or anything else that inspires your creativity. After the writing session, participants will read their stories aloud to the group, transforming the room into a shared dystopian universe-where imagination meets performance.
