Pwani Tapes and Santuri East Africa invite a Nairobi-based electronic music producer to collaborate with musicians from the Kenyan coast. The selected artist will co-create four new tracks inspired by coastal music from the Mbwana Radio archive and perform them at Kilele 2026. This project, part of the "Amplifying and Remixing Kenyan Coastal Music" initiative, includes co-creation and recording sessions from February 17-21, 2026, and rehearsals and performance during Kilele 2026 from February 23-27, 2026. The successful applicant will receive a performance fee and complimentary Kilele tickets.
