Binti Mgeni is a special gathering hosted by Queer African Network, created by and for women and queer individuals. It offers a safe space for attendees to be themselves, be seen, and belong. This event is a club for women, by women, and non-binary culture lovers in Nairobi, where art, conversation, and community flourish. The evening will feature a flower arrangement class, an intimate MGENI short film screening, and a joyful DJ booth dance session, providing a full sensory experience of creativity, reflection, and release. This collaboration highlights the power of communities coming together to hold space for each other, expanding the meaning of Mgeni beyond film and art into a living exchange of stories, joy, and belonging.
