Kenyan Readathon 2025

The Médiathèque Alliance Française Nairobi welcomes you to the Kenyan Readathon, a month-long reading marathon in September aimed at promoting Kenyan literary works. This event seeks to unite readers and writers for an engaging afternoon of discussions centered on Kenyan literature, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of the rich Kenyan literary culture. Activities include literary reflections from speakers, a book unveiling and discussion of ‘Tomorrow I will be here’, book exhibitions, and a Readathon Celebration and Networking session. Exhibitors include Nuria bookstore, Mystery Publishers, Wazalendo Readers, Hadithi Hut, Cynthia Abdallah productions, and Comrades Book house.
