Usikimye, in collaboration with Creatives Garage, invites you to MASKAN, a powerful art exhibition confronting femicide in Kenya. Curated by award-winning multidisciplinary artist Thayù, MASKAN comes from the Swahili word for ‘home’, a place where women and girls should laugh freely, rest safely, and live fully. But in Kenya today, too many homes have become graves. Through sound, scent, text, video, and installation, this immersive exhibition invites you into a space of mourning, memory, and resistance. A collective protest. A collective embrace. Come, let us honour those we’ve lost and reimagine a safer world for all.
