MYTH OF MAN; Sharon Kerubo’s first solo exhibition

This exhibition, titled 'MYTH OF MAN', is Sharon Kerubo’s first solo exhibition and installation. It peels back the illusion of human superiority. With biting satire, surreal imagery, humor, and sharp observation, Sharon invites viewers to see humans as they truly are: animals caught in their own loops, stumbling through the grand story they invented about themselves. The body of work critiques the hierarchy of man and animal, revealing our systems of power and order as fragile, almost comical performances. In this world, the human is just another animal—only dressed in visions of grandeur. Accompanying the main installation are absurdist musical compositions by Anne Moraa. Sharon’s practice questions the relationship between humans and animals, exploring our shared behavioral patterns and experiences by drawing parallels in both systems, and examining how we perceive ourselves in relation to both the human and non-human world and whether we cross these boundaries.
