Open Studio by Shilpi Deb

Join Munyu for an open studio with Shilpi Deb, a Kenyan-Indian multi-disciplinary artist who works between Nairobi and London. Shilpi, who holds a BFA from Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai, has exhibited her work extensively in Kenya and internationally. Her practice explores the continuous and fragile idea of the self, examining how identity is collected and accumulated, and how conditioning affects one's understanding and responses. Works by the artist will be on display, and she will be available for questions and open dialogue.
