'Par ici la vie' by Iwacu Dance takes the audience through the struggles, hopes, and dreams of a generation searching for freedom. Three dancers from Burundi bring to life the poetry of migration — the bonds of friendship, the weight of departure, and the fragile hope of what lies ahead. The performance tackles the theme of immigration as three young Africans explore their disillusionments, and their desire for a life elsewhere. Zamaleo Sigana Storyteller will set the stage with real stories of the lives of refugees displaced within Eastern and Central Africa region. Entre départ et attente, Par ici la vie fait résonner la poésie du mouvement, l’amitié et l’espoir fragile d’un ailleurs possible.
