This Sunday the 9th of November, we shall be having a Sketch Tour x Photowalk along Kenyatta Avenue, whereby we'll walk along the whole street, from the Nairobi Gallery to the Sarova Stanley Hotel, taking photos and making sketches as we learn their history. If you're a sketcher, feel free to come with your pen/paper/notebook/pencil, and if you're a photographer, feel free to use your phone or camera. The whole point is having fun and learning. Some of the buildings we'll get to learn about include: Nairobi Gallery, Nyayo House, GPO, Kipande House, The Point Zero, Sanlam House, Bank of India, Cameo Cinema, The KAR Soldiers, Stanbic Bank, Sarova Stanley, and Kenyatta Avenue itself!
