Rafinki Open Mic

Rafinki and Baraza Media Lab present Rafinki Open Mic May Edition with featured poet Ngartia under the theme Mental Notes. Ngartia's work navigates the intersection of orature and identity. He has explored Kenyan history and the power of narrative through poetry, screenwriting, acting, and short stories. He is most notably known as a co-founder of Too Early For Birds. His latest project, Dai Verse which was a two-hour poetry-based theatre production, continues this exploration of how stories stitch together who we are.
