Join NOOMA SANA for SKIZA PWANI, a personal tribute to Pwani’s rich soundscape and its diverse influences. This listening party will explore a coastal-infused soundtrack, connecting Taarab, Indian Disco, Horn of Africa Rhythms, and Swahili Soul. The first two hours will be a special sound honoring women on vinyl. Attendees can also experience the coastal region's unique tapestry of sounds, taste its long-standing culinary history, and try ornamental and aesthetic cultural practices.
