The Good GrainShow on maps
You're warmly invited to The Last Ones, a photography exhibition by Teti Sulu & Trevor Maingi. The exhibition turns its gaze towards Mount Kenya’s shifting landscape, treating it not simply as a backdrop but as a subject in its own right. The photographs, shot on film and the result of a demanding climb, resist immediacy and insist on slowness. This body of work places human presence in dialogue with geological time, inviting reflection on the weight of change, and the delicate balance between permanence and transformation. Teti Sulu is a Nairobi-based filmmaker and photographer whose practice draws on Ugandan folklore and cultural memory. Trevor Maingi is a Nairobi-based photographer and filmmaker whose work centres on attentive observation.
