Join us for "Uchungu na Uhuru," a raw, artistic, and unfiltered journey through Kenya's painful past and its victory/search for freedom. This ultimate drunken lecture experience will feature lectures, celebrations, live music, an exhibition, a panel for direct engagement, good food, music, fun, and games. We will travel together through a very painful journey, to learn and feel every ounce of tear and pain felt in our land, pain induced by fellow citizens or foreigners, all in the attempt of our freedom. Freedom to be alive, freedom of our lands, of our children, to work, freedom for equality. We will explore what it took, what happened, if it worked, if it did not, and why, to see the patterns and talk about it.
